SMALL COASTER (requires approx 9m yarn)
1. 13 dc into a magic circle. sl st to join. (13sts)
2. ch 3, 2 dc in ea st around , sl st to join. (27sts)
Ears: ch 5, sc in 4th ch from hook, dc in 5th ch,
sl st into third loop of 2nd dc from previous row,
sl st into next 3 third loops,
ch 5, sc in 4th ch from hook, dc in 5th ch,
cut thread and pull yarn through end,
skip 2 dc, attach end to next st, weave in ends.
LARGE COASTER (requires approx 15m yarn)
1. 13 dc into a magic circle. sl st to join. (13sts)
2. ch 3, dc in same, 2 dc in ea st around , sl st to join. (26sts)
3. ch 3, 2 dc in next, 13 times (39sts)
Ears:
ch 6, sc in 4th ch from hook, hdc, dc in 6th chain,
sl st into third loop of 3rd dc from previous row,
sl st into next 5 third loops,
ch 6, sc in 4th ch from hook, hdc, dc in 6th chain,
cut thread and pull yarn through end,
skip 2dc, attach end to next st, weave in ends.
