This easy to make Crossbody Handbag is crocheted in the round. No need for joins, and no obvious seam.

24cm wide and 22cm high. It is lightweight at approx 450g.

Crossbody Strap Options

The 20mm Black Leather Strapping I used can be purchased here. I punched holes and used 3mm leather screws (also known as chicago screws) to attach.

A cheap option for handbag straps and tassels is Op Shops!!! I regularly purchase quality handbags for a few dollars and strip for the hardware. As Molly Meldrum would say - do yourself a favour 😉
